When BBC Knowledge was conceived as a new factual channel and brand, I led the creation of the brand identity. This included an off and on air tool-kit, including original logo design, idents and bespoke font for the channel.
The logo design used an inverted question mark to replace the g, to support the idea that we should keep asking questions, the orange dot also played a key part of the brand identity, almost like the sun radiating energy and ideas. 
We also created brand films to support the thinking, great ideas are nothing, if they're not shared. BBC Knowledge is the brand that shares the wonder of our world in all its distinctive forms.
